U.P.PRO is a global supply chain and inventory management company, supporting leading customers through hands-on, data-driven operations.We are currently looking for aBuyer / Plannerto join our Ireland team and play a key role in ensuring inventory availability, operational continuity, and strong supplier performance.This role reports directly to the Site Lead and works closely with a collaborative team of 7–8 professionals in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.What you'll be responsible for:Inventory ManagementAlign with the customer on required inventory levels and maintain accurate catalog dataMonitor daily inventory status, identify risks of shortages, and provide recovery plansOptimize inventory levels by collaborating with U.P.PRO's internal network of buyers and plannersResolve issues related to warehoused materials and excess inventoryManage disposition and removal of low-consumption inventory, in line with customer requirementsPurchasing & Supply Chain ExecutionMake purchasing decisions and place purchase orders in line with KPIsEnsure supplier acknowledgment of PO terms and conditionsManage on-time delivery and resolve issues from PO placement through receiptSupport account reconciliation and follow-up on discrepanciesExperience & EducationBusiness degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain roles within a manufacturing or similar environmentProven experience working in KPI-driven environmentsSkills & CapabilitiesStrong analytical mindset with high attention to detailAdvanced Excel and solid data analysis skillsClear and effective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to build strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliersProject management capabilities and experience leading initiatives through to closureAdditional requirementsCandidates must be based in IrelandFull work authorization in Ireland is required for this roleIf you enjoy working in a structured yet dynamic supply chain environment, value collaboration, and like seeing the direct impact of your work on customer success – we'd love to hear from you.
