Job Title:
A Housekeeping and Support Staff is required to maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas and facilities.
This role requires strong attention to detail and efficiency in carrying out laundry and linen management duties.
* Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms
* Make beds, change linen and replace towels
* Dust and polish furniture, light fixtures and surfaces
* Vacuum and mop floors, spot-clean as needed
* Empty rubbish bins and replace liners
* Replenish in-room amenities
* Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly
Common Area Cleaning:
* Clean shared bathrooms and toilets
* Tidy and clean reception, hallways and communal spaces
* Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in common areas
* Dust, polish and remove cobwebs
* Clean windows, mirrors and glass doors
* Keep outdoor areas clean
Laundry Duties:
* Collect used linen from rooms and communal areas
* Prepare bed linen for collection by the external laundry service
* Wash, dry and fold some laundry items
* Sort, store and organize clean laundry neatly
* Monitor linen stock levels and report shortages
* Ensure safe use of laundry equipment
Requirements:
* Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality preferred
* Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
* Physically fit and able to lift/move items
* Trustworthy and professional
* Flexibility to work varied shifts when required
