Senior Podiatrist Job Description
Our organization is seeking an experienced Senior Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care while contributing to the development of podiatry services in our community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering advanced podiatric care, with expertise in diabetic foot care, wound management, biomechanics, and lower limb complications.
As a Senior Podiatrist, you will lead and develop podiatry services, supervising and mentoring junior staff members. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and patient-centred care.
To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years' full-time experience in clinical practice, along with demonstrated professional ability and knowledge to perform the duties of the role to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex foot conditions
* Lead and develop podiatry services, including supervising and mentoring junior staff
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and patient-centred care
Requirements:
* Registered on the Podiatrists Register maintained by the relevant regulatory body
* Minimum 3 years' full-time experience in clinical practice
* Demonstrated professional ability and knowledge to perform the duties of the role to a high standard
* Resident in Ireland or the UK with the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction
