Our Client, a reputable and progressive company in Tipperary, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant to progress their career in within a highly professional Finance department in a role that offers a competitive salary and significant career progression.
The Role:
* Contribute to the preparation and reporting of weekly accounts, taking ownership of designated cost and revenue centres, and gaining insight into how weekly reporting supports business performance management.
* Produce Management Accounting reports and collaborate with Operations teams on product yields, stock control and valuation, labour cost analysis, and related operational metrics.
* Support Financial Accounting activities, including monthly account preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Develop financial models for budgeting and rolling forecasts, including a 52-week Budget/Rolling Forecast model, and understand how these models integrate with weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
* Assist in ERP system development across multiple finance modules, including system implementation, enhancements, and testing.
* Create and test Management and Financial Reports using Business Intelligence reporting tools.
* Improve cost management by fully leveraging ERP capabilities and Bill of Materials (BOM) data.
* Coordinate project activities, facilitate meetings, document minutes, and produce weekly status updates, dashboards, and other communications such as issue, risk, and decision logs.
* Undertake ad hoc financial and project-related tasks as required.
Personal Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with 2–3 years' experience in a large accountancy practice or multinational organisation.
* A strong continuous improvement mindset with an interest in process optimisation and system enhancement.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all reporting and analysis.
* Collaborative team player capable of multitasking and engaging with cross-functional teams, especially Operations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and provide leadership when required.
* Excellent project management capabilities, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
