Key Responsibilities Structural Design & Calculations: Conduct detailed analysis and design for steel and reinforced concrete structures using industry software such as Robot, Tekla Structural Designer, or TEDDS.
Shadow Analysis: Perform environmental and shadow impact studies to ensure compliance with planning requirements and site-specific constraints.
Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality outputs.
Client Engagement: Actively participate in design meetings and liaise directly with clients, architects, and contractors to provide technical advice and project updates.
Site Inspections: Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure conformance with structural specifications.
Requirements Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience: 1-3 years of post-graduate experience in a structural design consultancy environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Auto CAD and Revit is essential.
Familiarity with Eurocodes and Irish Building Regulations.
Professional Status: Actively working towards Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels.
