In EY FS Ireland, we are expanding our Consulting practice and building our Technology Consulting team as a key component of our NextWave Strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead the technical delivery of banking projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time with high quality standards.
Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, engineering and test leads to drive delivery.
Ensure the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis and mapping stage.
Develop and maintain a detailed project plans and track progress and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Oversee the implementation, development and testing of Credit and / or Core Banking systems.
Stay abreast of the latest Banking industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Assist clients in leading discussions with various Banking vendors on transformation projects.
Skills and Attributes for Success
To qualify for the role, you must have:
8+ years of strong experience in technical project management, with a focus on banking systems.
Strong experience in stakeholder management.
Have knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) majoring in Agile (Scrum / Kanban).
Have ability to build and manage relationships across business and technology stakeholders.
Strong understanding of banking applications and architecture and industry regulations.
Good understanding of Credit or Core Banking systems.
Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects end to end on time and within budget.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in delivering business value from technology as well as communicating the value to senior business stakeholders.
Experience working in banks across multiple product domains (e.g., Retail, Corporate, SME, Treasury).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience with various project management tools and methodologies.
Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
Have a strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in IT or relevant field.
Having worked in the consulting industry is advantageous.
