We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our teams in Enable Ireland CDNT 2 & CDNT 7 in Tallaght & Ballyboden.
We are open to recruiting either:
One full-time Senior Speech and Language Therapist (1 WTE) who will split their time between CDNT 2 and CDNT 7, or Two part-time Senior Speech and Language Therapists (0.5 WTE each), each dedicated to one team (CDNT 2 or CDNT 7). Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Hours: 0.5 WTE (17.5 hrs) per team, or 35 hours total
Salary Scale: €57,771 to €68,385 pro rata per annum, subject to Long Service Increments (LSI).
Salary may increase in 2025 following the recent WRC agreement.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum, less for less than 12 months of service.
Overview of the Post Enable Ireland delivers children's services under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model, responsible for services to children with complex needs in designated network areas.
As a senior member of the interdisciplinary team, you will provide speech and language assessments and interventions across various settings including clinics, schools, preschools, children's homes, and community settings.

Candidate Requirements Registered or eligible for registration with the Speech Therapists Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapist Registration Board at CORU (> At least three years of full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification clinical experience Knowledge and ability to perform duties to a high professional standard Proof of statutory registration with CORU required before employment Maintain annual registration with CORU and confirm annually to Enable Ireland Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience working with children with disabilities and developmental delays Experience in conducting Assessment of Need Experience working with children aged 0-18 years and their families Experience prescribing and monitoring equipment based on children's needs Full driving license and access to own transport Experience working within interdisciplinary teams Minimum 2 years' experience working with children with disabilities Experience with children with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties Experience with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Benefits & Application Process We offer excellent training, generous leave, long service rewards, and paid maternity, paternity, and adoptive leave.
