Base pay range
Location: Dublin 12 (Fully from office)
Position: Fleet Manager
Salary: 70,000 to 75,000
This role is responsible for the end-to-end management of a diverse fleet of 1,000 vehicles across the ROI, UK, and Caribbean. It involves overseeing fleet operations, compliance, procurement, maintenance, budgeting, and vendor relationships. The position plays a key role in reporting key metrics to senior management, ensuring driver safety, implementing fleet policies, and supporting business needs. It also includes managing a team, conducting driver training, and leading initiatives to improve fleet efficiency and performance. A Transport Manager CPC and experience with HGVs, trailers, and vendor management are essential.
* Oversee daily operations of a 1,000-vehicle fleet across ROI, UK, and the Caribbean.
* Manage vehicle procurement, disposal, vendor relationships, and related invoicing.
* Monitor compliance, maintenance, fuel efficiency, and road safety across the fleet.
* Produce and present fleet reports, including financial, energy, BIK, and KPI data.
* Administer and maintain fleet systems (IMS) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Lead cost control efforts and manage the overall fleet budget.
* Implement and enforce fleet policies, procedures, and client-specific requirements.
* Support accident management, insurance claims, and risk escalation.
* Conduct internal driver assessments and training to enhance safety and performance.
* Collaborate with Operations, lead fleet projects, and perform line management duties.
* Full clean driving license with over 5 years’ experience in fleet management.
* Transport Manager CPC holder with practical knowledge of HGVs, trailers, and equipment.
* Strong team leadership and vendor management experience in a collaborative environment.
* Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and professional representation.
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused with a creative, self-motivated mindset.
