Your new role
1. Purchase materials, equipment, and services to support operations.
2. Source and evaluate suppliers, monitor market trends, and analyse pricing.
3. Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms to optimise value.
4. Manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and coordinate with internal teams.
5. Ensure supplierpliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
6. Resolve delivery issues and maintain strong supplier relationships.
7. Prepare purchasing reports, analyse spend, and support procurement strategies.
8. Stay current with industry trends andpliance requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Recognised qualifications in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
10. Minimum 2 years' experience in a procurement or buying capacity, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
11. Strong negotiation, analytical, andmunication skills, withmercial acumen for cost analysis and contract management.
12. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
13. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, build stakeholder relationships, and manage suppliers.
14. Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritise workload.
15. Understanding of supply chain management, purchasing/accounting software, and inventory control processes.
