We are looking for an experienced Site Foreman to join our team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Environment
Implement and uphold the company's Safety Statement and HSQE Management System.
Prepare, review, and deliver RAMS, SPAs, and toolbox talks; ensure all site personnel are inducted and appropriate permits are in place.
Conduct regular HSQE inspections (minimum one per month) and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
Oversee waste management, environmental protection, and pollution prevention measures.
Quality
Ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Identify, document, and rectify any defects or non-conformances; manage NCRs to support continuous improvement.
Obtain client and consultant approval for completed works.
Programme & Delivery
Plan and coordinate daily site activities and resource allocation, including labour, plant, and subcontractors.
Contribute to short-term lookahead programs and monitor progress against the master program.
Proactively identify potential delays or issues and implement corrective actions.
Commercial & Reporting
Monitor productivity and ensure efficient use of labour, materials, and equipment.
Minimize wastage and rework; understand cost implications of site decisions.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, labour/plant returns, and progress reports for the Site Agent or Project Manager.
People & Stakeholder Management
Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring compliance with company policies and site procedures.
Coordinate effectively with clients, designers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Support the professional development and safety awareness of site operatives.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in civil engineering or construction supervision.
Strong understanding of HSQE standards and site compliance requirements.
Completion of Site Safety Supervisor Training (or equivalent).
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
Full clean driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
Proficient in RAMS, SPAs, and site inspection systems (e.g., PowerApps or similar).
