We are seeking a diligent and organized Site Clerk to provide on-site administrative and clerical support. The successful candidate will be the primary link between the construction site staff, subcontractors, and the main office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for document control, material delivery tracking, timesheet processing, and maintaining site safety records. The successful candidate must have experience in construction administration and possess a safe pass.
Key Responsibilities
Site Administration: Support Site Superintendents and Managers with daily administrative tasks, including preparing, updating, and filing project documentation.
Document Control: Maintain the site drawing register, Request for Information (RFI) logs, technical submittals, and ensure documents conform to established standards.
Timekeeping & Labour: Record and verify weekly timesheets for direct and agency labour, ensuring correct hours and overtime are allocated before submission to payroll.
Material & Plant Control: Monitor deliveries, check delivery dockets against orders, and maintain material transfer books. Assist with weekly material and plant stock takes.
Safety & Compliance: Assist with site safety inductions, register new inductees, and manage subcontractor safety documentation.
Meetings & Reporting: Take minutes during site meetings, compile daily/weekly progress reports, and maintain the site diary.
Site Office Management: Order stationary, PPE, cleaning supplies, and manage the general tidy appearance of the site office.
