Your strong people and leadership skills will shine through and help you develop the team. You will have the ability to problem solve, with a great eye for detail with good business acumen and commercial awareness.
As part of the Senior Management Team you will need to build relationships with different business partners and be the link between your stores and the support office. Responsibilities:Develop a positive relationship with each store, store staff and store customer base to increase salesMaintain costs within allocated budgets, through good time management, resource management, and the most effective call pattern for each storeAccurately interpret and communicate company marketing, merchandising and operational strategies to the field, including seasonal and promotional displaysAssume the responsibility for shrinkage within the estate, reporting security problems, shoplifting awareness and health and safety for both the stores and team membersBe responsible for maintaining acceptable standards of critical, store based, management controls to minimise all areas of risk or lossRecruit, train, mentor, coach and develop store managers through weekly store visits to identify priorities based on skills gaps and demands of the business, and to maximise the potential of all managers in the retail estateConduct regular performance reviews with managers, ensure the manager conducts regular performance reviews with their teamEnsure excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practicesHandle escalated customer service issues and ensure timely resolutionDrive employee engagement and promote a culture of accountability and high performanceClosely working with stakeholders to deliver opportunities of strategic benefit to The GroupEnsuring consistently high operational standardsAnalysis of weekly store reports and take corrective actionAchieve sales cash figure target through specific KPI goals across the retail estateFollowing and implementing all Company Policies and Procedures to drive the businessActively pursue strategies to positively impact store profitabilityAbility to learn a variety of job descriptionsTo perform any other duties as assigned to you by your Line Manager Experience & Skills:Strong organisational and planning skillsThe ability to communicate clearly and effectively - both verbally and writtenStrong leadership skillsProficient user of Microsoft office suite mainly Excel and OutlookAbility to work under pressureConfident, driven and enthusiasticDecision making and problem-solving abilityCommercial awarenessWill have acquired considerable knowledge of large retail outlets and operationsAbility to manage, train and develop a team of staff including ManagementMinimum of 3 years multi site management experience in a large retail environmentFull clean driving licenseBusiness development experience and a proven track record of meeting targets Other:Attractive salary and benefits package for the right candidateCompany Bonus SchemeCompany Car20 days Annual Leave
