Nostra is exponentially growing and we are looking to hire an Operations Director responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Nostra, ensuring that all services are delivered to clients on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
The Role: Operations Director
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy: Lead the operations team and coordinate the daily activities to ensure smooth and effective operations across all service departments.
Develop and implement operational structures to improve efficiency and performance across the organisation.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Resource Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimise cost management.
Ensure proper staffing and training to maintain effective operational workflows.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment between operations and other business functions, especially Sales and Finance.
Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication and teamwork.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, laws, and regulations.
Identify and manage potential risks that could impact operational performance or business continuity.
Technology & Systems: Drive the adoption of technology and systems to improve operational workflows and efficiencies.
Lead the implementation of software or tools that enhance operational capabilities.
Customer Focus: Ensure that operations meet or exceed customer expectations, delivering high-quality products or services.
Develop systems to gather feedback from customers and use it to improve operations.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on operational performance, budget adherence, and project status.
Analyse data and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Business, or Operations Management, or a related field is required.
A Master's degree is a plus.
At least 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in process optimization, resource management, and team leadership.
Experience with financial budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business software and operational tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
