Your new role
You will be responsible for all aspects of the budget, managing projects with a focus on Business Partnering. You will liaise with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate allocation, spending, and control of the budget. As a Finance Officer, you will provide regular reporting and projection analysis to advise Senior Management on financial issues and inform future financial planning. Building and developing relationships with key finance stakeholders both internally and externally will be essential.
Sample of duties include:
1. Responsible for management accounts.
2. Manage the organisation's budget.
3. Manage project expenditures.
4. Provide and review monthly analysis of spend versus budget for projects.
5. Liaise closely with Senior Management to review budget performance, oversee financial authorization, and control expenditure.
6. Advise on financial matters and highlight any finance-related issues to the Executive Management Team.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, Chartered, CPA, CIMA). Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders are essential. Experience with large, complex organisational structures is preferred.
