Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* To work as part of a team, supporting clients with general duties in a residential rehabilitation addiction recovery setting
* Carry out general administrative duties
* Attend appointments with clients
* General care support
* Co-facilitate groupwork
* Support key workers to implement client care plans
* Support clients in recreation, work programme, self care, family visits, general chores
* Learn the skills and knowledge of a Keyworker
* Carry out duties given by line manager
* Successful candidates will be required to work across a 7 day working week including early and late shifts
* Must be able to demonstrate ability to work as part of a team
* Have a non judgmental attitude

* Have clear written and verbal skills
* Be willing to upskill
* Have good interpersonal skills and be friendly and approachable
* Understand strong professional and personal boundaries
* Can demonstrate ability to work on own initiative
* Has a basic understanding of money management, motivation, personal hygiene, health and well-being, basic food preparation, housekeeping, physical health and well-being and problem solving (not exhaustive)
* Must be flexible
* This position is subject to Garda Vetting
* New Hope has a strong and dedicated staff team and is looking to train up a like-minded committed individual that will enhance the team. Successful candidates may be required to work lone with clients
