This role supports the delivery of systemised and scalable design solutions across a range of building typologies, from low-rise to high-density multi-unit residential developments as well as the formation of a repeatable industrialised workflow for the wider practice in specialist areas such as healthcare, educational and data centres etc.Reporting to theHead of Industrialised Design & Construction, the role works collaboratively with project teams and the Digital Innovation and BIM departments. The emphasis is ontechnical development, construction knowledge, supply-chain-aware design, and integration of data-rich components, rather than ownership of BIM standards or governance, which remain within the BIM department. What You Will DoIndustrialised Project DeliverySupport the application of industrialised design principles across low-rise, medium-density, and high-density residential schemes initially, assisting project teams in implementing structured, repeatable workflows.Develop construction-ready detailing informed by manufacturing constraints, logistics strategies, sequencing requirements, and MMC considerations .Contribute to the development of a scalable "kit of parts" usable across multiple building typologies.Digital & Automation DevelopmentDevelop intelligent model components, parametric assemblies, and programmable workflows that support design standardisation and efficient technical delivery in alignment with the Group BIM Standards and Systems.Prototype automation tools (Dynamo, Python or equivalent) to streamline repetitive tasks, drawing generation, schedules, and data extraction.Construction Data IntegrationIntegrate manufacturing, logistics, and installation data into digital models to support construction sequencing and supply-chain planning.Embed structured datasets related to embodied carbon, material efficiency, and environmental performance into model components, enabling early carbon assessment and optimisation.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with the BIM Department to ensure all digital content and workflows align with existing BIM standards, while maintaining clear separation between IDC systems development and BIM governance.Collaborate with Digital Innovation on the development of automation tools, data structures, and cross-platform integrations.Contribute to our R&D partnerships, supporting industry and academic collaborations in areas such as MMC, low-carbon design, and automation in construction.Building the IDC FrameworkSupport documentation of repeatable processes, lessons learned, and industrialised workflows for future rollout across other sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and data centres.Strengthen a scalable IDC methodology that aligns with supply-chain capacity, procurement constraints, and emerging national/EU policy. What You Bring5+ years of experience in Revit-centric technical roles within architecture, construction, engineering, or DfMA/MCC environments.Strong competency in automation scripting, computational logic, and data-driven modelling.Understanding of construction detailing, offsite manufacturing, procurement pathways, and sequencing/logistics constraints.Working knowledge of carbon assessment methods and material-performance metrics .Familiarity with Lean methodologies, industrialised workflows, or modern methods of construction.Strong communication skills and an ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, up, down and across the organisationOur ValuesInnovation – We embrace new ideas and continuously seek smarter ways of working.Collaboration – We achieve more when we work together and support each other.Trust – We act with integrity, accountability, and respect in all that we do.Energy – We bring passion and drive to deliver excellence and create a positive impact
