Department Manager Role
We are a leading retailer providing fashion, homewares and food for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver KPI goals for the department and any subsequent targets
* Deliver operational principles and customer service excellence
* Lead team to achieve business objectives
* Maintain trading safety and compliance policies
* Analyse sales data to maximise sales through pre-empting customer needs and demands
Demonstrate exceptional customer service while ensuring our customer service programme is delivered.
Implement brand standards and train team in line with brand training programme.
Ensure all process and business changes are implemented as required.
Provide feedback on performance, key customer service developments and operational issues.
Requirements: Excellent communication, coaching and leadership skills. Customer focused Organisational and time management skills Commercial mind-set and appropriate product knowledge Problem solving & decision making Visual Merchandising skills People management skills Department or team leader level experience in a fast paced retail environment & customer focused business is preferable but not essential
