Strategic HR Professional
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Strategic HR professional to join our team. As the focal point for all HR matters, you will be responsible for fostering a positive work culture through effective employee engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex HR concepts to both employees and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Foster a positive work culture through effective employee engagement initiatives.
* Identify training and development needs in collaboration with department heads.
* Support and enhance the organisation's performance management systems.
* Provide HR guidance and support to all staff and management levels.
* Maintain and manage the HR system and employee database.
* Administer recruitment processes, including interview panel participation.
* Draft employment contracts for staff and players.
* Coordinate work permit applications and renewals.
* Collaborate with governing bodies on HR matters such as onboarding and offboarding.
* Oversee the entire employee lifecycle.
* Advise on statutory leave entitlements (e.g., maternity, paternity, parental, sick leave).
* Administer and manage employee benefit programmes.
* Monitor employment legislation and implement policy updates accordingly.
* Closely communicate HR initiatives and policy changes.
* Liaise with external HR and payroll partners on employee matters.
* Process monthly payroll amendments with the Finance team.
* Act as the key contact for industrial and employee relations.
* Support player development managers on HR-related issues.
* Lead or contribute to HR project work and new initiatives.
