Senior Project Manager - Band 8a

What you'll be doing
In this senior role, you will:
* Lead the delivery of complex ICT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to agreed standards.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and develop business cases.
* Shape and advance the Service Delivery Model for new digital services.
* Oversee procurement and delivery with external suppliers and specialist partners.
* Provide clear project governance, reporting and financial oversight.
* Manage project teams, supporting their development and fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
* Ensure best‑practice project management standards are applied throughout delivery.
* Lead post‑project reviews and support continuous improvement across the organisation.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Strong experience in ICT project management within a complex organisation.
* A track record of leading significant project budgets or complex digital workstreams.
* Experience managing and developing teams.
* A recognised project management qualification (such as PRINCE2, MSP or PMP).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
* Broad technical understanding and awareness of emerging digital solutions.
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport (unless exempt under disability provisions).
Experience in IT Service Management or implementing service transition processes would be highly beneficial.
