The Role Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Snr Project Manager to join their growing team.
This is a key role managing multiple utilities projects across urban and rural environments, with a strong focus on the greater Dublin area.
You will be responsible for overseeing water and wastewater connection works, ensuring quality delivery, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Serve as the main point of contact for multiple projects, particularly in urban environments.
Apply commercial awareness to assess project viability, costs to complete, and claims narratives.
Manage water and sewer connection projects across Dublin and surrounding counties.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, representatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare, review, and interpret technical drawings for value engineering and efficient design.
Develop design packs from concept to detailed design, considering environmental, archaeological, and regulatory inputs.
Produce regular project reports for internal and external stakeholders, with clear direction on next steps.
Lead and support existing project teams, promoting efficiency, motivation, and high performance.
Assess constructability of complex water and wastewater designs.
Coordinate effectively with all project stakeholders, including internal departments and third-party suppliers.
Contribute to continuous improvement of team structures, processes, and supply chains.
Manage statutory investigation (SI) works.
Candidate Profile Experience and Competencies Must be currently based in Ireland with full working rights.
Full drivers licence is essential.
Relevant engineering qualification is desirable.
Proven experience managing utilities projects to UK or Irish Water Standards (potable and foul) is essential.
Confident and self-motivated, with strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and manage deadlines effectively.
Strong time management and organisational abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism, with a respect for confidentiality.
