As our EHS Lead you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the workplace is safe, compliant with BMD and Client requirements and promote a positive safety culture, you will also be expected to lead a team of safety professionals, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring throughout the project.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Implement and monitor the company's EHS Management System on the project Promote a positive health and safety culture on site among site management, contractors, and workers Monitor EHS compliance on site and produce weekly inspections and reports Develop, maintain, and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team Influence and coach the site team in the implementation of best-practice EHS standard Performing incident reporting and near misses and follow up actions, identifying root causes, and implementing changes to prevent reoccurrences.
Reviewing subcontractor Safety Documents and Site Safety Compliance.
Reviewing Safe Work Plans and Permits for the tasks on site.
Managing Health Safety documentation on-site.
Attend the client/PSCS meetings Person Specification Education, Training Experience Recognised EHS degree or diploma (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred) 6+ years' experience in health and safety roles within residential or build Previous experience on construction projects within Pharmaceuticals/Semiconductor is ESSENTIAL Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively Strong IT skills - proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with database systems Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with other What's in it for you?
