Overview:We're seeking a proactiveMaintenance Planner/Schedulerto optimize workforce productivity and minimize downtime by planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities 2 weeks to 1 month in advance. This role is key to ensuring high equipment availability and efficient maintenance execution.Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary liaison between Maintenance and Operations.Review and validate work requests, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and proper prioritization.Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, securing necessary materials, tools, and vendor services.Develop and publish weekly maintenance schedules aligned with production plans.Maintain a "ready backlog" of work for flexible execution.Support CMMS data accuracy and continuous improvement of job plans.Ensure safety compliance and effective communication with all stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning and scheduling performance.Requirements:Minimum:NFQ Level 8 degree in a STEM discipline (2.1 or higher).Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office).Knowledge of preventive/corrective maintenance practices.Excellent communication and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in teams.Preferred:Experience with data analytics tools (Cognos, Spotfire, Tableau).Calibration and GMP/GDP knowledge.Salary & Benefits:Competitive Salary with room to grow as experience dictates5% contributory pension schemeVHI allowanceEducation & study support providedEmployee Assistance ProgramAnnual performance Bonus providedTraining will be provided for the correct candidate; this position offers a strong salary and good progression opportunities along with healthcare allowance, Pension and bonus structure.
