Mobile Medical Diagnostics, MMD, are the only fully licensed mobile x-ray service in Ireland. We provide a community-based radiology services solution, resulting in improved access to x-ray for our clients. Our clients include Nursing Homes, Transitional Care Units, Hospices, Intellectual Disability Centres and Private dwellings where most patients have physical and or cognitive impairments and a transfer to hospital is challenging.MMD are seeking to fulfil a role for the position of Radiology Services Manager to join our dynamic and Patient-centred team. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:· Support planning, organising and coordinating all aspects of the service. delivering a professional and comprehensive digital radiography service.· Support the radiographers in their duties, training and equipment management· Work with Senire Management on Clinical Governance systems to ensure the delivery of the highest possible standard of care to patients.· Support administration staff with clinical queries and RIS/PACS.· Align workforce to meet contractual requirements with the HSE, Health insurers and referrers. This will involve occasional clinical work when required if locums are not available.· Support the Senior Management with recruitment and retention of a high-quality clinical workforce· Project implementation - we are a fast-growing company where new projects are continually coming onstream so opportunities will arise to lead projects and/or be part of the project team· Business development with the Senior Management to identify new business opportunities.
