This role will be based in the Cork Office and will report directly to the Risk Consulting Director. This full-time role will be 37.5 hours per week.As an Assistant Manager, you can expect your duties to include;Responsibility of liaising between your own team members within Risk Consulting in addition to Clients, Partners and Management.Responsibility for scheduling and timetabling risk consulting work and ensuring agreed deadlines are met.Supervising, training and reviewing the work undertaken by junior team members.Responsibility to build and develop a team around you over time once the candidate is fully functioning in their own role.Review processes, systems and controls to identify any weaknesses.Keep up to date with best practice and current developments as they relate to our clients.Prepare high standard reports detailing the recommended improvements and/or changes for Director and Partner review.What We Are Looking ForMinimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.Ideally holds a suitable professional qualification with post qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, CPA or IIA).Strong internal control, risk management and internal audit experienceStrong attention to detail and quality focused.Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload, multitask and meet deadlines.Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.Valid Irish work permit and full Irish driving licence preferable.
