Reservations Manager - Luxury Wedding and Event Venue

Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a highly skilled Reservations Manager to join one of Ireland's premier wedding and events venues.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations office, ensuring seamless coordination of all bookings and inquiries.
* Train, develop, and supervise reservations staff to optimize their performance and achieve sales targets.
* Oversee reservation bookings for all rooms, including management of amendments, cancellations, and general inquiries.
* Maintain occupancy levels by ensuring effective utilization of available space and implementing strategies to maximize sales.
* Cultivate exceptional customer relationships by responding promptly and accurately to all correspondence.
* Collaborate closely with the Wedding Events Team and Housekeeping department to guarantee guest requests are met and communicated effectively across departments.
* Ensure the smooth and accurate flow of information within the department and across other departments at all times.
* Address customer complaints in accordance with company policy, upholding the highest standards of service excellence.


Requirements:

* Prior experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor within a 4/5* property is essential.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with a Property Management System (Hotsoft) is desirable, but not mandatory.
* Possess outstanding communication and customer care skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse groups of people.
* Proven leadership abilities, with a strong capacity to lead, motivate, and develop the Reservations team.
* Confident in communicating with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
* A valid full driving license, with reliable transportation being essential due to the venue's rural location.
