Job Description
We are looking for new Technical Content Developers for the Product Specialist and Technical Enablement Team. If you have a background in software technical roles—such as a Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineer, Technical Solutions Architect, Professional Services Consultant, or a Technical Support Engineer—and want to grow into a role where you can create content that enables our customers to learn our products, then this role is for you! You will play a key role in enabling our customers, partners, and internal technical staff by creating technical guidance that will be published on our premier technical enablement platform, Tech Zone (https://techzone.omnissa.com). You will also deliver technical enablement content to both internal and external audiences.
The ideal candidate is results‑driven and enjoys teaching, writing and collaborating with colleagues, partners, and customers. They must love technology, embrace new challenges, and be willing to travel to present to customers and deliver technical enablement when necessary. This position requires a great deal of intellectual curiosity and the strong desire to learn new technologies and present the knowledge to others. A considerable portion of the work involves learning how things work and building content to teach others.
Desired Skills
Technical Expertise: Hands‑on experience with IT tools—endpoint management, device troubleshooting, security tools, and Windows, Linux, macOS, and mobile operating systems. Knowledge and hands‑on experience with an endpoint management solution such as Omnissa Workspace ONE or Microsoft Intune is preferred. Familiarity with other solutions in the end‑user computing endpoint management space and Windows OS and lifecycle management tools is a plus. Exposure to endpoint security and identity solutions is a strong plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to learn and explain new technologies to others. The role requires learning and understanding our technology through hands‑on work, and explaining our products to practitioners who need to understand.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences and write documents that clearly explain complex technical concepts. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Customer‑Focused: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.
Experience: 3‑5+ years of relevant experience in technology roles for EUC solutions—such as product management, solutions engineering, implementation consulting, technical support, or technical marketing in the end‑user computing software industry.
