What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) within EMEA, you will support and lead service activities for large LV/MV data centre projects in the field. Your main responsibilities include installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and product repairs. You will also provide support to the extended EMEA Service community through high-level technical knowledge and experience in the field.
* Lead LV/MV Data centre commissioning activities across EMEA
* Provide expert technical support in Hyperscale commissioning activities
* Support and train Local FSEs in level 3 (L3) commissioning activities
* Troubleshoot and support junior field service engineers
* Provide detailed site reports on service work, product performance, and warranty issues
* Manage technical escalations with key accounts, including site visits and support
* Collaborate with project management, providing technical advice and attending site visits
* Serve as a technical liaison for LV/MV commissioning procedures and testing
* Manage local FSE and subcontractor installation teams as required
* Ensure safety procedures are followed, including PPE procurement and safety audits
Qualifications
* Electrical education background, preferably installer experience
* 5-10 years of relevant experience, ideally in data centres
Skills
* Experience with low and medium voltage switchgear installation and commissioning, including testing and relay programming
* Knowledge of UPS products is advantageous
* Proficiency in English is required
