Occupational Therapist Role
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services at clinical bases and within clients' homes. The successful candidate will work autonomously and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage the Occupational Therapy Service across CAMHS services.
The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Occupational Therapy, full CORU registration, three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience, and at least two years of experience working within Mental Health, preferably with CAMHS. They must also demonstrate an ability to manage and develop self and others in a busy working environment and collaborate well with others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide occupational therapy-specific assessment & interventions for a complex caseload.
* Work as part of the MDT to complete generic mental health work, such as initial intake assessments.
* Hold a key working role and supervise a staff-grade Occupational Therapist.
Requirements:
* BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
* Full CORU registration
* Three years of full-time post-qualification clinical experience
* At least two years of experience working within Mental Health, preferably with CAMHS
