Job Title: Hospitality Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our management team as a Hospitality Operations Manager. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of all hotel departments during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional customer service.
* Maintain consistent operational standards and create a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property, fostering a positive guest experience.
* Inspire and motivate staff to achieve high performance and teamwork, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Ensure detailed and effective shift handovers for continuity, guaranteeing smooth transitions and minimizing errors.
* Respond professionally to guest enquiries and address any complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Participate in management meetings, sharing updates and insights across teams to drive business growth and success.
* Monitor safety and security protocols, conducting regular checks and addressing hazards promptly to ensure a secure environment.
* Enforce company policies, procedures, and SOPs to optimize efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
* Keep all hotel areas neat, tidy, and inviting for guests and staff, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
* Assist with induction and ongoing staff training and development initiatives, upskilling and reskilling employees to meet changing business needs.
* Handle administrative tasks such as report writing, record keeping, and minute taking, providing essential support to the management team.
* Drive GDPR and data protection compliance, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive information and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:

* Strong ability to manage, guide, and develop teams, with excellent leadership and coaching skills.
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
* Exceptional customer service and people skills, with a diplomatic approach to conflict resolution and a focus on building strong relationships.
* Clear and confident communication style, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and effectively.
* Proven ability to work independently, making sound decisions under pressure and demonstrating a high degree of autonomy.
* Comfortable handling a mix of administrative tasks and compliance duties, with a flexible attitude and a readiness to contribute wherever needed.
Detailed Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in hospitality or a related industry.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality management, customer service, or a related field would be advantageous.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and to be available for on-call duties as required.
* Valid working permit for Ireland, if applicable.
* Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
