Syntech Recruitment is partnering with one of Ireland’s leading mechanical services companies to find a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work on a mix of office-based and on-site projects, with the potential for a hybrid working arrangement after six months. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, skilled professional with excellent time management, prioritisation, and communication skills. Responsibilities:Liaising with clients, design teams, and contractors throughout projects.Participating in coordination meetings with design teams.Conducting design reviews and validating equipment, pipe, and duct sizes.Developing technical submittals, equipment registers, and trackers.Managing the execution of commissioning test certificates.Overseeing mechanical-related RFIs during the construction phase.Managing all drawing activities, including requests, reviews, updates to as-built status, and issuing of soft and hard copy masters. Requirements:Experience:Minimum of 3+ years as a Mechanical Project Engineer.Residential and commercial project experience is essential.Technical Skills:Proficient in AutoCAD and other software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Solid understanding of M&E systems within buildings.Personal Attributes:Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.Proven ability to coordinate effectively on projects.Other Qualifications:A relevant qualification in Building Mechanical Services Engineering is desirable.A full, clean Irish driving licence is required.If you are an experienced professional seeking to advance your career in a dynamic and supportive team, this role offers excellent potential and benefits
