Responsibilities:
* Conducting cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
* Managing procurement processes and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Monitoring project expenses and implementing cost control measures.
* Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize project delivery while adhering to budgetary constraints.
* Evaluating variations and claims and providing accurate cost reports.
Requirements:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale heavy civils and infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficiency in relevant software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
