We're recruiting for a Senior IT Services Manager on a FTC reporting to our Head of IT, based in Dublin.This role is responsible in leading and transforming IT services across the organisation as it begins a Business Transformation programme. The Senior IT Services Manager balances operational excellence with a focus on customer satisfaction, service reliability and process simplification. It is an essential role in delivering reliable IT services, ensuring operational efficiency, managing vendor performance, controlling costs and promoting a customer focused, engaged workforce while modernising and simplifying IT infrastructure, systems and operations to support the evolving needs of the business.At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.What you'll be doing\: · Oversee the seamless delivery of IT services to the business, ensuring that service levels and key performance indicators are met or exceeded.· Maintain an effective Controls Framework to ensure adherence to IT Security, Risk, Compliance and Governance standards and requirements· Align IT services with business transformation objectives over time and ensure that the IT service portfolio is scalable, reliable and adaptable to evolving business needs.· Drive simplification and standardisation of IT processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery· Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place to ensure compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during business continuity events· Manage and optimise the organisations IT network and infrastructure, ensuring that it is secure, resilient and capable of supporting both current operations and future growth, particularly in Cloud services and operations.· Ensure all IT services are delivered within budget, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.· Oversee the integration of multiple IT services and vendors to ensure a cohesive and unified IT service delivery model.· Enhance and transform service management frameworks to standardize processes and improve efficiency.IT Leadership experience; 7+ years of experience in managing and leading IT service operations within a financial services or similarly regulated environment with proven experience in managing operational excellence (essential)Vendor Management Experience\: Demonstrated experience managing vendor contracts and relationships ensuring third-party providers meet performance standards and align with business needs (essential)3rd level qualification in an IT discipline, or equivalent experience (essential)ITIL practitioner (desirable)Transformation and Change Management\: Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets, control costs and ensure team members are deployed effectively to support business goals (desirable)This role is a CF1 role under Fitness & Probity Regime, which means the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced level of background screening requirements.
