Engineering Manager Software Defined Network
Google is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for Software Defined Network (SDN) to lead the development of control plane systems for Google's Global Network Edge (GNE).
This role involves designing and implementing network features, leading a team of talented engineers, and collaborating with various partners to deploy our SDN solutions.

Experience & Qualifications
Deep expertise in network engineering and SDN technologies.
Experience owning outcomes, decision-making, solving ambiguous problems, and influencing stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of experience in software development, data structures, algorithms, and network systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
About the Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee the development of SDN control plane systems that are critical for Google's Edge network and services.
You will lead a team, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and ensure the successful deployment and operation of our SDN solutions.
Responsibilities
Build and lead the SDN control plane systems for Google's GNE.
Design, implement, and qualify networking features, including architecture evolution, admission control, bandwidth enforcement, and network management.
Lead and collaborate with engineers, test teams, and SREs to develop and deploy SDN solutions.
