Maintenance Fitter - County Laois Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading manufacturing operation in County Laois.

The role is full-time, 39 hours per week, on day shift, with lots of overtime available at enhanced rates.
Responsibilities Carry out maintenance activities to support daily production.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement corrective measures.
Support preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform routine calibration, inspection, testing, and repair of machinery.
Collaborate with contractors and electricians on new equipment installations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with standards.
Criteria Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
Qualification in mechanical automation and maintenance fitting or metal fabrication desirable.
Strong skills in electrical fault finding, welding, fabrication, and fitting techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Flexible, team-oriented, and committed to high performance.
Reward €25 - €28 per hour depending on experience.
Overtime paid at x1.5 normal rate.
Saturday work available at overtime rate or option for time off in lieu.
