Job Title:Head of Health & SafetyLocation:Dublin (Office-based with regular international travel)Sector:Data Centres / Mission Critical ProjectsAbout the Role:Our client, a leadingdesign & build contractor specialising in Data Centre construction across Europe, is seeking a highly experienced Head of Health & Safety to lead and drive all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management across their operations. This senior leadership role reports to the executive team and requires frequent international travel to ensure consistent standards across projects and sites.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Health & Safety strategy in line with international best practices.Lead, mentor, and manage the Health & Safety team, promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety regulations and standards.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, both locally and internationally.Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to proactively manage safety risks.Analyse incident reports and near-misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.Represent the organisation at industry forums, regulatory meetings, and with key stakeholders.Candidate Requirements:Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety role within Data Centre or mission critical projects .Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence culture, and drive continuous improvement.Experience managing multi-site operations with a hands-on, practical approach to safety.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation.Must hold a valid Irish or EU passport.Must be available for frequent international travel.Why Join:This is a unique opportunity to lead Health & Safety for a forward-thinking, rapidly expandingData Centre construction contractor, working on high-profile, complex projects across Europe.
