HR Generalist (Part-Time)

Location: Headford Road, Galway

About Call Pal

We are now looking for a Part-Time HR & Office Coordinator to join our Galway team. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, combining HR responsibilities with general office coordination and support.

The Role

You will manage day-to-day HR activity, including recruitment, appraisals and probation reviews, while also ensuring the smooth running of the office. You will handle stock procurement for Gray Offices, oversee supplies, and be the main point of contact for general staff queries.

This is a practical, hands-on position where you will have the opportunity to make a real impact across both HR and office operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as the main HR contact for the business, providing day-to-day support and guidance.
* Manage recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
* Coordinate employee appraisals and probation reviews.
* Maintain employee files and ensure HR records are accurate and compliant.
* Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters and references.
* Monitor attendance, leave and general HR reporting.
* Support staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
* Manage office operations, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for Gray Offices.
* Liaise with payroll to ensure employee updates are processed correctly.
* Assist management with administrative and project-based tasks as required.

About You

You are approachable, organised and enjoy being the person who keeps things running smoothly. You are confident handling HR matters and happy to take on a variety of office-based tasks.

Key Requirements

* Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources (CIPD desirable but not essential)
* 1–2 years of experience in a HR role
* Good understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information
* Comfortable working independently in a small team environment
