Job Title: OTC Assistant Location: Miriam Leech Pharmacy Reports to: Pharmacy Manager Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: To provide excellent customer service, assist with OTC medicine sales, and support the daily running of the pharmacy. Key Responsibilities: Advise customers on OTC products (within scope of training) Operate the till and handle sales accurately Stock shelves, check expiry dates, and maintain cleanliness Refer clinical queries to the pharmacist Support the pharmacy team as needed Requirements: Previous retail or pharmacy experience (preferred) Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, friendly, and well-organised Willing to complete OTC training if not already qualified Ability to work on your own initiative Contribute to window and floor displays (helpful) Benefits: Competitive pay Staff discount On-the-job training and development Work as part of a young, dynamic, and progressive team
