Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Department: Electrical Engineering
Direct Report To: Director – Electrical Engineering
Primary Location: Dublin, Ohio OR Bellefontaine, Ohio
Manufacturing Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio
PowerBuilt is a turn-key material handling systems integrator. Our growing engineering team is seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to join our electrical engineering department as the company continues to expand and grow.
Responsibilities
* Develop technical electrical controls expertise
* Assist other departments with electrical controls information
* Provide electrical control system and panel design
* Provide PLC, HMI, and Robot programming on various platforms
* Provide project documentation
* Provide startup and commissioning services for projects
* Develop electrical troubleshooting capability
Requirements
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Ability to travel up to 25% per year primarily in the United States
* Ability to work in a factory and "job shop" environment
* Ability to communication work status and issues
* Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* High attention to detail
* High Competency with Microsoft products
* Bachelor’s degree within electrical engineering discipline -OR-
* Associates degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience
