About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our production department, overseeing the effective and efficient operation of our highly automated 24/7 production process. You will be responsible for the performance of the department against agreed targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), while providing support and leadership on continuous improvement across all key operational metrics.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of up to 20 technicians, setting standards, coaching, and developing them through regular one-to-ones and formal performance reviews.
* Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, equipment upgrades, downtime reduction, and proactive management of the production process.
* Collaborate with our R&D team to bring new soft drink formulations from concept to production, ensuring scalability and manufacturability.
* Ensure regulatory and safety compliance, leading KPIs, risk assessments, hazard elimination, and proper use of PPE.
* Manage the engineering budget, identify cost-saving measures, and utilize data analytics to monitor production metrics and make informed decisions.
Requirements/Skills
* 3-5 years of experience as an Engineering Lead/Supervisor and team leadership in a production/manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of production processes within the food/soft drinks production environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to utilize resources effectively, display initiative, and apply problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
