Job Title:Loan Officer AssistantDepartment:Mortgage OperationsDepartment Location:Littleton, MAReports to:Manager, Mortgage Lending Support ServicesCareer Stream:Individual ContributorClassification:HybridCompensation & Commission Plan DetailsPay Grade:10FLSA Status: Non - ExemptBase Pay Range: $30.56 -$38.19Commission Plan: Participants shall earn 2 basis points (0.02%) per dollar volume of the total volume of the sales team(s) the LOA supports.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted pay grade range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.FUNCTION:Assists the Residential Mortgage Loan Officers (SRMLO/JRMLO) in preparing their files for review by processing and underwriting.Essential Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesReview file for completeness.Request clarification from SRMLO and JRMLORequest additional clarification and documentation from borrower either by phone, email or text (borrower's preference)Prepare file for initial disclosuresFile must be disclosed accurately within Federal guidelines and timelinesMonitor review and signing of disclosures by both the borrower and the RMLOOnce disclosures are fully signed note intent to proceed in fileFile the disclosures appropriately in the system fileSet up file for initial orders (appraisal, flood and title).Ensure all documentation needed to move file forward is in order.Complete order for appraisalComplete order for title / attorneyComplete order for flood reviewCollaboration & SupportSend file to processing team for initial review. Work with processors on any missing pieces.Once file is with Underwriting, work in conjunction with the processor to collect any outstanding items needed to complete the file.Keep all parties informed on the status of the loan (SRMLO/JRMLO borrowers and realtors).EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentExperienceThree years mortgage related experienceKnowledge/Skills/Abilities/CompetenciesKnowledge of all types of residential mortgage loans; thorough knowledge of loan policyMandated Licensing RequirementMust or will be registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System ("NMLS") and maintain active status and accurate registration information on file.
