Operations Manager

About The Role
Working closely with the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable guest experiences, maximising revenue, and implementing innovative strategies that ensure the venues success. Flexibility is essential, as this role includes day, evening, and late-night shifts, with weekend work required and rotating weekends off.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead department heads and operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
* Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Oversee coordination across accommodation, food & beverage, events, and guest services.
* Partner with the events team to deliver exceptional, tailored experiences with flawless execution.
* Work with sales and marketing to drive event business, enhance the venues reputation, and maximise revenue opportunities.
* Conduct regular health & safety audits, proactively addressing risks and ensuring compliance.
* Lead sustainability initiatives, identifying innovative ways to reduce environmental impact and improve efficiency.
* Support financial planning, budgeting, and cost control efforts to drive profitability.
* Implement dynamic pricing strategies, upselling initiatives, and efficient labour management to exceed financial targets.
* Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring swift resolutions and elevated satisfaction.
Requirements
* Proven leadership and organisational skills, ideally with 35 years experience in hospitality operations.
* Experience in events, food & beverage, and multi-department management.
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and sustainability best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards.
