These services are provided in the Ashlin Centre (approved centre) which is located on the grounds of Beaumont Hospital. The O'Casey Rooms in the Fairview Community Unit provide care for people with mental health problems in Later Life. Our community services are located in Coolock, Artane, Killester Kilbarrack, Swords and BalbrigganThe quantum of services provided include Acute Mental Health Inpatient Services, Non-Acute Specialist Inpatient Services, Psychiatry of Later Life Services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Community Residential Services, Homebased Treatment Service, Day Hospital Intervention, Day Services, Specialist outpatient and in reach teams (Liaison DSH, Assertive Outreach, Primary Care,) and Community Mental Health Teams.Dublin North City Mental Health Services (DNCMHS) provides a predominately community-based specialist mental health service with a catchment population of approximately 362,460. The quantum of services provided include Acute Mental Health Inpatient Services, Psychiatric Intensive Care services, Non-Acute Specialist Inpatient Services, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Psychiatry of Later Life Services, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Community Residential Services, Homeless Mental Health Services, DeafHear Liaison service, Day Hospital Intervention. Specialist outpatient and in reach teams (Liaison, Bereavement, CBT, EUPD, Assertive Outreach, Primary Care, Family Therapy) and Community Mental Health Teams.Acute inpatient services are provided in the Department of Psychiatry, Connolly Hospital, Mater Misericordiae Hospital and the Phoenix Care Centre. The range of interventions should be recovery orientated, comprehensive and evidenced based.These posts will support the Mental Health Clinical Programme delivery. They will involve the staff members undertaking assessments, developing and contributing to integrated care planning, initiating and delivering evidence based clinical interventions and linking closely with a range of statutory, voluntary and vocational services in the local community.The post holders will prioritise and manage a clinical case load, organising pathways of care, assertive follow up and referral procedures within primary and secondary services.
