Factory Hygienist (Cleaner) – Night Shift
Glenhaven Foods are one of Ireland's largest poultry processors, specialising in coated, marinated, cooked, and raw frozen poultry across foodservice and retail. Proudly 100% Irish and privately owned, Glenhaven Foods was first established in 1986. Our head office is a purpose-built facility comprising of two separate factories and is home to 180 colleagues located just outside Arklow, County Wicklow.
As part of the Night Shift team, you will be responsible for cleaning within the various factory departments and always maintaining set hygiene standards in line with company requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
* Deep cleaning of production machinery to ensure hygiene standards and good housekeeping practices are maintained throughout the factory.
* To adhere to cleaning procedures.
* Follow cleaning checklist to ensure cleaning standards are maintained.
* Use of a power wash to clean premises.
* Use of chemicals safely & effectively.
* You must be able to comply with the necessary hygiene and health and safety, COSHH regulations.
* To ensure all company procedures are followed at all times.
Schedule:
* Hours scheduled between 8.00pm & 6.00am.
* Night shift.
Requirements/Experience
* Previous cleaning experience in an industrial or factory environment is a distinct advantage.
* Ability to commute to Arklow, Co. Wicklow.
* Good communication skills
* Eligibility to work in Ireland.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* An ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently.
