**Project Manager – CIS Position Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and deliver programmes of Customer Information System (CIS) projects within agreed timeframes, budgets, quality, and scope.
The successful candidate will have expertise in project engineering with a strong background in railway or regulated engineering environments. Key areas of focus include:
* Station Customer Service Systems (SCSS): Implement Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS), Public Address (PA) systems, Help Points (HP), CCTV, telecoms infrastructure (e.g., cabling), and associated civil/structural works at stations nationwide.
* Customer Communications Centre (CCC): Develop a centralized communication facility within a National Control Centre, equipped with an Integrated Systems Management Platform (ISMP) to monitor and control station systems, enhancing the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver full project lifecycle management: inception, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and legislation.
* Provide professional support to senior management and deputise when required.
Requirements
* Degree in Building, Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.
* Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Engineers Ireland).
* Minimum of 10 years' project engineering experience in a railway or regulated engineering environment.
* Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience managing budgets and schedules on projects of similar scale.
