Credit Controller Role
Are you a results-driven professional looking for a challenging opportunity in finance? We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team.
1. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to take on the role of Credit Controller within our finance team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and resolving customer debt through effective communication, negotiation, and issue resolution.
2. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will also be essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
* Debt collection by telephone and email.
* Maintain own set of accounts and ensure collection activity is in line with current process.
* Convert customers to payment by direct debit and ensure accurate collection activity is maintained at all times.
* DATABASE MANAGEMENT
* Achieve monthly cash collection targets and maintain high quality and consistent working standards on a monthly basis.
* Ensure all processes are adhered to and make suggestions where improvements are needed.
* Assist to resolve customer related issues and complaints, including all customer communications.
* Manage a high-level workload and pick up any ad-hoc projects to support the department.
* Assisting to develop and disseminating appropriate debt information, ensuring outstanding customer queries are thoroughly investigated and escalated through the Credit Control function.
* Assisting in the production of reports.
Requirements:
* Previous exposure working in credit control and in a finance environment, numerate, with the ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex accounts and financial reports.
* Proven track record to work without being supervised, the ability to manage issues in a timely manner without escalating to team leader unless needed.
* Previous exposure working within collections.
* Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting deadlines.
