My client, an employer of choice in is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to senior management and operational teams. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial information to support business performance, planning, and control. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports, including manufacturing variances and inventory performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and outlook processes, highlighting key variances and trends. Develop and maintain financial planning and forecasting models. Produce margin analysis and manage cost allocation processes. Analyse manufacturing costs and margins for new products in collaboration with relevant teams. Support manufacturing operations with cost optimisation, process control, and performance measurement analysis. Monitor and report on capital expenditure. Support inventory costing and control processes. Contribute to cross-functional business projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Deliver detailed financial analysis to senior stakeholders as required. Provide support for internal and external audit processes. Key Requirements: Degree-qualified or professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent). Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing or operational environment. Strong commercial acumen with excellent financial and analytical skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Experience contributing to business improvement or cost-saving initiatives. Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver on commitments. A proactive, self-starting approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
