Ryanair is currently recruiting for an Inflight Workforce Planning Manager to join the Inflight Department.
The successful candidate for this role should demonstrate a natural interest and or experience in developing planning processes using systems and technology to scale and develop Ryanair's crewing strategy for 80+ bases across the full network.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Infight Planning and will be responsible for:
Modelling short-, medium- and long-term Cabin Crew requirements across 80+ bases in the Ryanair network
Analysing operational performance and trends, adjusting crewing targets to support growth, operational reliability and seasonal demand
Working with Ryanair Labs, to drive real automation of manual processes to overhaul current processes to enhance planning tools and validate data in new IT developments to ensure accuracy, scalability and system reliability across the network
Leading and developing a team, including admin responsibilities of the dept., ensuring strong delivery, high performance and continuous improvement
Supporting Cabin Crew throughout the full base change process, ensuring fairness, clarity and timely communication
Preparing accurate data, insights and reporting for senior stakeholders, including departmental reports for senior management review, along with routine weekly and monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis, where detail and accuracy are essential
Monitoring attrition and retention trends, partnering closely with Recruitment to respond to projections and hiring needs and to identify required actions.
Forecasting future risks to maintain workforce and operational stability
Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have to demonstrate:
Strong analytical background, with demonstrated examples of delivering reporting and system change
Numerically or data driven, with a keen eye for analytics and scenario modelling
Experience identifying, designing and integrating automated scalable solutions to drive optimisation
People management experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work on own initiative and to work accurately with high volume to tight deadlines
Flexibility and ability to adapt to change quickly in a busy environment
