Job Description:
Securitas Security Services Ireland are looking to recruit a Security Operations Centre Analyst based in Cork. Rate of pay is €17.35 per hour plus night allowance of €16.80 per shift and Sunday Premium of €3.44. per hour.
As a Security Operations Centre Analyst, you work with a team of professionals who are responsible for providing the protection of our client personnel and property. You will be based at our newly created Security Operations Centre at Cork and work with a global team proactively supporting many aspects of safety, security, and crisis management.
Essential Functions:
* Global Vigilance - Provide safety & security support to our worldwide team - Stay ahead of trends, offering insights and recommendations to our leadership.
* Proactively respond when incidents occur.
* Produce comprehensive incident summaries will keep everyone informed.
* Ability to master safety and security systems, manage calls, and ensure hardware and software are in peak condition - Leverage CCTV for situational awareness and investigations.
* Unleash Your Creativity - Translate company culture, values, and strategies into real-world safety and security applications - Evolve and share best practices that drive our security ethos
* Intelligence Amplified - Craft insightful intelligence reports, presentations, and security assessments - Analyze global threats, tapping into open-source information and social media monitoring.
Requirements:
* Ability to identify and solve complex problems and carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision, at times under adverse and stressful conditions.
* Proven ability to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product.
* Comfortable enough to constantly adapt to the terrain and circumstances of a fast-paced environment.
* Thorough understanding of relevant security operations centre products.
* Excellent customer service skills and commitment.
* Comfortable with ambiguity.
* Experience in high security environments or similar with rigorous security compliance requirements.
* 3 years minimum working in a Security Operations Center.
* Must be willing to participate in our GSOC operator proficiency test Program.
Intermediate computer skills in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel,PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom) required.
Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
Able to interact effectively at various social levels and cross diverse cultures.
Able to take initiative and achieve results within constraints of standard operating procedures.
Able to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
Able to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
Able to synthesize and arrive at logical conclusions with input derived from multiple sources.
Able to determine course of action based upon detailed written instructions
