SERVICE ENGINEER - Cork Established indigenous Irish installer of access control products and services are expanding, looking for a service engineer to take on the growing demands of their large clientele, with development plans and continued expansion THE COMPANY: With a long-standing history, this indigenous Irish company comes with a reputable pedigree and solid market standing. They have secured their place within the Irish market as a leading supplier of various products and services such as access control systems, door automation systems and security hardware, to name a few. THE ROLE: The successful service engineer will be based in the Greater Cork area, being responsible for the mechanical and electrical service and maintenance of products and services, such as access control systems, door automation systems and security hardware. Being responsible for the repair, service and maintenance of all products such access control systems, door automation systems, electronic locks, roller shutters, and electric bollards to name a few. Ensure all company procedures are followed and possible improvements recommended for customers. Liaise with all clientele, mainly facility managers, within the industrial, healthcare, education and commercial industries. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to experienced candidates who have been exposed to a similar field-based service role. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded engineer who has practical electrical competence and mechanical fitting experience. Strong electrical or mechanical background. Candidates from similar roles such as forklift engineers and maintenance technicians will also be considered. Knowledge of various automatic door products would be desirable. A basic understanding of access control equipment would be advantageous. Experience in a field-based role would be desirable.
