We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join a solar farm project based in Longford, with an immediate start available. This role is ideal for someone with experience in quality assurance and quality control within construction, renewables, or related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
Manage and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring timely resolution
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work complies with design specifications and quality standards
Work closely with subcontractors to ensure all works are completed to client expectations and project requirements
Monitor and enforce QA/QC procedures across all project stages
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and audit-ready
Requirements
Proven experience in QA/QC roles
Strong knowledge of ITPs and NCR processes (highly favoured)
Background in mechanical or electrical disciplines (both highly desirable)
Experience within industries such as: Renewables (Solar, Wind), Energy / Utilities, Substations, Data Centres
Strong personality with the confidence to challenge, manage, and communicate effectively on-site
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
